Wordsworth Care Home

Established over 30 years ago by the Weekes family, Wordsworth House residential care home is set in the beautiful sea side town of Swanage, Dorset, on the world-famous Jurassic Coast.

Keen to maintain their proud links with home, owner Laura Weekes, her Granddaughter and previous manager Kellie Cooke are still regular visitors to the home. However they have now handed the reigns over to Erin Lock, Registered Manager since July 2018 and a long standing employee of the home.

More than just a fabulous building in a beautiful setting; Wordsworth House care Home offers professional, considerate and person-centered care to our residents, in a warm, encouraging and friendly environment.

‘My Aunt moved into Wordsworth in December 2018 and has been in the home 5 months. During this time I have been very impressed with the level of care she has been given. The staff are very friendly and approachable, nothing seems too much trouble. They keep an eye on her medical needs and she’s always comfortable.
